Imperial Galleries opened its doors in 1997. Located in the historic old downtown area of West Monroe, Louisiana known as Antique Alley, the gallery specializes in unusual items, art, antiques, Jim Shore Figurines, Lady Primrose, and of course, Lampe Berger.

Dr. Joseph Poetker, owner of the gallery, is a retired Philosophy professor who taught for many years at The University of Louisiana at Monroe. Assisting him are family members Emily and Opal as well as Mrs. Lola Tillman, who keeps everything in line!
